GOOD MORNING, The overnight markets were in correction mode for the PM session, led by wheat as better weekend rains were noted. The markets closed mixed, and spreads are firming again. The markets remain in technically driven mode and still have the fundamentals to back a bull market move. Surprisingly, funds actually lightened up last week and may be waiting for a larger break post May 12 USDA report to add back length. Strategy is everything. On behalf of a Canadian oilseed processer WPI's team provided market analysis, econometric modeling and financial due diligence in support of a $24 million-dollar investment in a Ukrainian crush plant. Consistent with WPI's findings, local production to supply the plant and the facility's output have expanded exponentially since the investment. WPI has conducted parallel work on behalf of U.S., South American and European clients, both private and public, in the agri-food space.
