Crop insurance is under fire after making up for the losses of a few years ago - just in time for a record hurricane season to hit.As last reported (see Ag Perspectives, 8 September), a continuing resolution was passed by both chambers of Congress that will fund the U.S. federal government and suspend the limit on federal borrowing until 8 December. In the meantime, a long-term solution to the debt ceiling and all the appropriations bills must be developed and passed.
