Kennedy, Jr., urged producers to expand the beef herd in a “fireside chat” with National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (NCBA) President Buck Wehrbein. Kennedy, however, acknowledged that herd rebuilding will take time before the retail beef market sees any movement toward greater supplies. Relatedly, on Friday, President Trump signed an Executive Order (EO) that would temporarily quadruple Argentina’s beef quota to 80,000 MT for the calendar year 2026 only.
