It is almost the end of December and it is still raining across much of Argentina. The forecast this week still looks wet. Over the weekend 1-2 more inches of rain fell across Cordoba, Entre Rios and parts of Buenos Aires. It also was extremely hot in some of these same regions, with temperatures above 100 degrees Fahrenheit reported. Needless to say, it has been a very unusual and frustrating season for farmers in Argentina. Consistent with WPI's findings, local production to supply the plant and the facility's output have expanded exponentially since the investment.
