Ballot Initiatives Elections in the U.S. bring with them ballot initiatives, either initiated by citizens or the legislatures. This year there are at least 120 such questions on the ballots in 34 states. Notably missing this year are any policies impacting agriculture unless one considers marijuana and tobacco to be about farming. Consistent with WPI's findings, local production to supply the plant and the facility's output have expanded exponentially since the investment.
