Russian Grain Markets: 12–16 June 2023  According to the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, as of 5 June, total acreage of spring grains and legumes planted reached 29 Mha including: wheat – 13.5 Mha, barley – 7 Mha, corn – 2.5 Mha, and rice – 159,400 ha.  Spring planting of all crops is 92 percent complete covering 50.7 Mha. This spring planting pace is a bit faster than a year ago. However, Siberia is suffering a drought which requires replanting.
