Russian Grains Markets: 20-24 June 2022 Russia launched harvesting in the Southern Federal District as well as in seized and annexed Ukrainian Crimea. Other temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories, which include parts of Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, and Lugansk, will be harvesting in a situation where military actions will take place at the same time as harvesting. Most if not all of this grain from occupied territories will be supplied to Africa, Middle East and other regions which suffer from insufficient food supplies.
