Russian Grain Markets: 22–26 July 2024 This season Russia will fail to produce a record crop despite an earlier harvesting campaign. The Ministry of Agriculture believes in their previous forecast of 132 MMT of which wheat is 86 MMT. Interestingly, the Ministry of Agriculture is the most optimistic while other analysts are forecasting lower levels of grain production for this season. For instance, IKAR believes in 128 MMT of which wheat is 83-84 MMT. The corn crop is forecast at 14 MMT versus 17 MMT a year ago. USDA’s July forecast shows 83 MMT of wheat. Weighing in on strategic realignment
WPI’s team was retained by the governing board of a U.S. industry organization to review a decision, reached by vote, to invest significant assets into the development and management of an export trading company. WPI’s team conducted a formal review of this decision and concluded that the current level of market saturation would limit the benefits of the investment.
