Russian Grain Markets: 16–20 September 2024 Russian grain markets remained stagnant as export demand is weak and domestic demand is even weaker. Moreover, appreciation of grains earlier in the month reached its peak at this stage of the game and buyers are very careful right now. Sellers are not in a hurry to sell their crops either. Export duties will play an important role in the near future for the export market.  There many discussions about a “poor” Russian grain crop this season and delayed planting campaign of winter wheat, but this does not help prices grow.
