The overall planting area as of 10 April is over 665,000 ha, which is almost 40,000 ha above last year's indicator. Several regions are well ahead of past year's indicators -- namely Stavropol (up 83,400 ha). Rostov is also ahead, and the Far East Federal District is up 6,200 ha.
