Grain Auction Results from 23-24 May 2012 Russia held another auction of grains from the intervention fund on 23 May; 70 companies took part in the event. A total 249,500 MT of grain from the 2008 and 2009 harvests were offered to the participants. The total volume of purchased grain was 99,623 MT, including 72,963 MT of 2008 harvest grain (about $12.9 million) and 26,660 MT of 2009 harvest grain (about $4.9 million).
