Russian Grain Markets: 10-14 September 2012 Harvesting Updates The Russian Grain Union forecasts the grain crop in that country at 72 MMT. The crop currently already harvested amounts to 63 MMT. Russian Grain Union President Arkady Zlochevsky believes that approximately 4 million hectares may not be harvested due to adverse weather conditions. However, this agency believes that stocks are sufficient for domestic consumption and forecasts an export potential at 16-17 MMT.
