Russian Grain Markets: 1-5 October 2012 Harvesting Updates Russian Ag Minister Nikolai Fedorov on 9 October changed the 2012 grain harvest forecast in net weight to 71 MMT and in bunker weight to 74-75 MMT (from 72-73 MMT). Russian Vice Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich estimated net weight to be even lower at 70 MMT. As of 8 October, the total grain harvest in the country was 71 MMT of grains in bunker weight, including 39.2 MMT of wheat with an average yield of 1.88 MT/hectare.
