Russian Grain Markets: 26-30 November 2012 Grain Market Interventions The intervention fund put up 64,935 MT of grains for exchange trading on 4 December. Export Update Russia has exported 11.769 MMT of grain since 1 July 2012, according to the Russian Ag Ministry. During 1-28 November, export volumes amounted to 1.445 MMT of grain, including 865,700 MT of wheat, 307,300 MT of barley, 211,500 MT of corn and 60,800 MT of other crops. The current export potential for the rest of the marketing year is estimated to be 15.5 MMT.Comparing the current MY 2012/13 exports (1 July – 28 November) to the results from the same period in MY 2011/12, we can see that exports have fallen 18.2 percent (from 14.386 MMT of grain).
