Russian Grain Markets: 7-11 December 2020 Russian domestic market wheat prices decreased due to the the Russian government’s decision to introduce the export quota (17.5 MMT of grain from 15 February-30 June 2021) and export duty for wheat (euro 25/MT within quota volume and 50 percent of the customs cost outside of the quota). That resulted in a sharp decrease of prices on the domestic market and an increase of export prices. Feed barley and feed corn prices moved in different directions.
