Oilseeds Reduced U.S. Imports and ASF Push Crushers to Cut Activity The temporary lull in the trade war has done little to restore U.S.-China soybean trade. With the U.S. government shutdown also ending last Friday, access to weekly export data has just been restored. However, due to the record length of the closure, it will take time to catch up on the weeks of lost work and bring the data current. Through the past mid-December, U.S. soybean commitments to China for the 2018/19 crop year totaled 2.02 MMT.
