Livestock China’s Live Hog Price Up Nearly 22 Percent According to the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), the first state procurement of frozen pork for reserves for MY 2021 took place today. The total purchased was 20,000 MT or approximately 13 percent of the country’s average daily domestic pork output.  As previously reported, China’s central government released a work plan last month to improve the mechanism for adjusting pork reserves in an effort to stabilize the market.
