Livestock Latest Hog Market Data Point to More Sows than Expected The latest data release from China’s National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) indicate the current live hog and sow inventories through June are higher than privately expected. In particular, the survey data show a total domestic hog inventory of 430.57 million head and a reproductive sow inventory of 42.77 million head.
