Livestock China’s Live Hog Price Up More Than 15 Percent in Q4 With China’s national average live hog price finishing last week at its highest level since mid-September, the central government said it would release 20,000 MT of frozen pork. Since the end of the Q3, the national average price has climbed by more than 15 percent with the majority of those gains occurring in late November and here in December with holiday demand picking up.
