Oilseeds Soymeal Inventory Rises  Last week marked the annual Qingming Festival Holiday, also known as Tomb-Sweeping Day, which symbolizes the renewal of spring and focuses on families paying respects to their deceased family members. This event slowed end user demand, which consequently pushed China’s soymeal stocks to their highest level since the beginning of March. Thus, the nationwide estimated soymeal inventory totaled 826,000 MT as of 6 April, up 52,300 MT (+6.8 percent) from the previous week and an improvement of 114,500 MT (+16.1 percent) versus the same week one year ago.
