Oilseeds Soymeal Inventory Rebounds on Stepped-Up Crushing Activity As new shipments of imported soybeans from Brazil continue to arrive here in August, crushing facilities, particularly those in Guangdong, Guangxi, the Northeast and Shandong, have stepped up their output. China’s estimated soymeal inventory thus climbed sharply to reach 1.264 MMT as of 17 August 2018, up 105,700 MT (+9.1 percent) versus the week before and 77,100 MT (+6.5 percent) higher than the same week in 2017.
