As of 21 September 2018, China’s estimated soymeal inventory totaled 866,400 MMT, down 71,500 MT (-7.6 percent) from the previous week and 32,900 MT (-3.7 percent) lower than the same week a year ago. Meal stocks fell in every region except the North and Shandong Province, which had gains of 4,300 MT (+3.3 percent) to 124,300 MT and 8,000 MT (+9.8 percent) to 90,000 MT, respectively.
