Oilseeds Soymeal Inventory Drops to Six-Month Low Delayed shipments of imported soybeans combined with strong feed demand have pushed China’s estimated soymeal inventory to its lowest point since the third week of April. It totaled 740,400 MT as of 20 October, a decrease of 61,900 MT (-7.7 percent) from the previous week but 163,400 MT higher (+54.9 percent) than the same week in 2016. Only three regions experienced increases in their inventories with those in the North rising 17,700 MT (+57.8 percent) to 48,300 MT.
