In yesterday's WPI report, Gary Blumenthal and Dave Juday gave their assessments of the effect of the U.S. election results on various issues related to U.S. agriculture. And yesterday the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) released its latest update on world food prices. In a sense, the U.S. election results and their impact on U.S. agricultural policies and world food prices, along with the issues they raise, are rather closely connected.
