Heavy rains swamped portions of the Midwest overnight from Missouri, Iowa and Illinois into Michigan. A cold front produced totals ranging from 1-4 inches with 2-3 inch amounts common. Some local flooding is reported. The system with additional heavy rain totals will move slowly eastward. Obviously, this storm system will further delay fieldwork.
