Grain and soy markets are easing their way toward next Wednesday's September WASDE from USDA, and all eyes will be on the USDA NASS updated yield and production estimates. Normally NASS does not change its harvested acreage numbers in the September WASDE. But with this year's corn harvest progressing at a record pace, NASS may develop a better handle on abandonment than is usually possible at this time.We are already seeing the usual array of pre-report private production estimates.
