Disagree with AGree: The group AGree was formed by various charitable organizations to "to drive positive change in the food and agriculture system." The group has just published two studies, but the methodology and outcome are flawed in the one titled "Assessing the Impacts of Federal Farm Bill Programs on Rural Communities." The thrust of this disappointing report is that price support, conservation and crop insurance programs do not help rural communities, unless farming is the major local economic engine.
