The 2022 mid-term Congressional elections are three weeks from today. There is a lot of prognostication about the potential outcome, more and more of it predicting a change in party control of the House of Representatives. The current 50/50 split Senate is expected to come down to the wire; the Democrats could get outright control no longer having to rely on the tie-breaking vote of Vice President Harris, or the Republicans could win a majority. Either way, the margin is so tight that a two-seat majority is the outer bounds. A continued 50/50 split is also a distinct possibility.
