Senate Agriculture Committee Republicans have signed a letter to EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy regarding a number of regulatory matters before the agency, but does not mention the Renewable Fuel Standards (RFS).There are a number of hot-button issues on the agenda in Washington these days, many of which are being used as either offensive or defensive weapons in election year strategies. Ironically, the federal budget is not really one. Not much progress is being made on appropriations bills for FY 2015 even though there was a bipartisan budget agreement to hold the line on discretionary spending. Both parties have reason to try to agree to budget reduction totals, but other issues hold more partisan differences that lawmakers are pursuing...
