EPA Administrator Andrew Wheeler signed the agency’s proposed 2020 Required Volume Obligations (RVO) under the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) today, which will be published next week in the Federal Register and be open for public comments. The EPA will also hold a public hearing on the proposal with the date and time to be announced in a supplemental Federal Register document. The volumes were in line with industry expectations and as WPI had published on 13 May (click here). The entire increase over the final 2019 RVOS was 12 million gallons, all in the cellulosic category that is part the broader overall advanced category.
