Data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) shows that ethanol exports to date have totaled more than 377 million gallons though May, while one producer predicted total volume for the year could reach 800 million-1 billion gallons.Ethanol production was slightly down last week at 965,000 bbl/day, a decrease of less than 1 percent. That rate would yield 284 million gallons for the week and consume just under 5.3 billion bushels of corn if annualized. Those numbers compared with a rate of 973,000 bbls/day the week before, which was the equivalent of 286 million gallons.
