Regional News  Europe’s wheat harvest is starting, and the market will be closely watching for reports of yield and quality issues. WPI sources suggest that the harvest in southern France has, so far, featured above-average quality but below-trendline yields. Yields, however, are expected to increase – as they typically do – as the harvest moves northward.  The coming week offers meaningful precipitation for the UK and parts of southern/eastern Europe. Spain, western France, and eastern Romania/Bulgaria will see limited rainfall and soil moistures will be drawn down.
