European Market Analysis

Regional News  Iraq tendered for 50 KMT of milling wheat last week and the lowest offer received was for Ukrainian wheat at $386/MT CNF. U.S. wheat was offered at $551.80/MT CNF with offers from Canada, Australia, Romania, Poland, and Lithuania ranging from $424-498.50/MT CNF. Offers for Russian wheat were not considered due to the terms of the tender.  Last week, Tunisia bought 150 KMT of soft wheat at $383-388/MT CNF along with 100 KMT of durum wheat priced from $505-522/MT CNF.  Wheat is reportedly piling up in Egypt’s ports due to payment issues.
