Regional News  Ukraine’s agribusiness Nibulon has completed the “first stage” of a new grain export facility in the Danube River port of Izmail. Ukraine currently has three small Danube ports and has been using them to export grains and food products since Russia invaded and blocked exports (until August) via the Black Sea.  Egypt indicates its strategic wheat stocks will be able to meet 6.6 months of domestic consumption and that sugar, soy, and sunflower seed oil are sufficient for 5.6-6 months.  Egypt’s state-run supply company GASC will start selling wheat to private mills that do not produce subsidized bread.
