Regional News  Russia has shipped two vessels of wheat to Somalia and Burkina Faso as part of the country’s promise to send free grain to Africa.  China purchased 66 KMT of feed corn from Ukraine at $248/MT C&F for December shipment.  Through 24 November, Ukraine has exported 12.541 MMT of grain in MY 2023/24, down from 16.9 MMT shipped in the prior year. Of that, wheat exports account for 5.68 MMT, corn for 5.865 MMT, and barely for 0.867 MMT.  Ukraine’s Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said early Monday that Russia has stolen over $1 billion worth of grain from the occupied territories of Ukraine. The Prime Minister noted Russia “devised technical measures to seize 12,000 MT of grain daily.”...

Forecasting developments in production agriculture
