Export Sales and Shipments for April 18-24, 2025. Wheat: Net sales of 72,000 metric tons (MT) for 2024/2025 were down noticeably from the previous week and down 24 percent from the prior 4-week average. Export shipments of 491,700 MT were up 3 percent from the previous week and 9 percent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to South Korea (165,500 MT), Mexico (69,700 MT), Taiwan (40,200 MT), Nigeria (39,000 MT), and Ecuador (36,200 MT). Corn: Net sales of 1,014,400 MT for 2024/2025 were down 12 percent from the previous week and 13 percent from the prior 4-week average. Forecasting developments in production agriculture

On behalf of a private U.S. agricultural technology provider, WPI’s team generated an econometric model to forecast the movement of concentrated corn production north and west from the traditional U.S. Corn Belt.
