We wrote yesterday that the House passed two resolutions instructing conferees to:

Seek the repeal of the sugar program. Support a Senate amendment to limit crop insurance premium subsidies for farmers with an adjusted gross income of $750,000 or more.

That was incorrect as it pertains to the sugar program. In fact, the House did pass a rule on considering those resolutions, but the instruction on the sugar program was defeated when considered under the terms of the rule. The crop insurance program instructions did pass by voice vote.
