As we reported on Friday, the Senate released its 2012 Farm Bill proposal late on Friday. At the time of this report a revised draft is expected, though little is known what the revisions might be. Rumors on Capitol Hill indicate that Southern members may be unsatisfied with the rice and peanut provisions which sent staff back to the drawing board early this morning.As for another controversial commodity program, included in the draft is the dairy provision that we have flagged in previous reports.
