The Senate took up the farm bill again this afternoon, but it was also scheduled to vote on a resolution supporting the full implementation of U.S. and international sanctions on Iran. It is likely that the Shaheen amendment on sugar will be taken up after an agreement on the vote can be worked out.Last year, Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-New Hampshire) offered an amendment to reform the sugar loan rate reform and to eliminate the Feedstock Flexibility Program (FFP), which is the sugar to ethanol transfer.
