While the effort to reform the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) is running apace in Congress, a number of interests are weighing in on the actual farm bill's energy title. The Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) has sent a letter to the House and Senate Agriculture Committees urging inclusion of renewable chemicals in the energy title. Another letter was sent by a coalition of about 100 groups in support of the energy title.
