As we all know, 2012 was a very difficult year for the derivatives world. The good news in 2013 is that the volume plunge was reversed.Detailed annual data on trading volume from the 84 formal derivative exchanges around the world is compiled by the Futures Industry Association (FIA), the global industry's trade association, and published in March of the following year. We always find this data to be very interesting.
