House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Virginia) circulated a memo on Friday outlining the upcoming schedule for the House in June. Upon returning tomorrow, the House will take up appropriations bills for Agriculture, Rural Development, the Food and Drug Administration and related agencies, along with those for the departments of Homeland Security, Defense and Veterans Affairs. By mid-month, the House is scheduled to take up the committee-passed farm bill. In his memo, Cantor says he looks forward to "a robust debate and an open process on the House floor."Just how open the process will be is still a matter of debate.
