Yesterday, the House Rules Committee met to develop the “rule” for considering a “minibus’ package of seven annual appropriations funding bills for FY 2023, which includes the ag appropriations bill – it also includes transportation, energy and water, housing, interior, military construction, and veterans’ affairs. In the House, the Rules Committee establishes a rule for floor consideration of legislation.
