Impeachment’s Implications U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-California) says that her Party now has “the facts” to initiate impeachment proceedings against Donald Trump. It is a turn of events, but it may change less than would typically be expected. The most recent example is the 1998 impeachment proceedings against President Bill Clinton.
