Ample Soybean Supplies Expected to Result in 1 MMT Carryover While the government of India (GOI) has projected 2018/19 (October-September) soybean production at 13.459 MMT, the Soybean Processors Association (SOPA) projects the total at 11.483 MMT, a difference of 1.976 MMT. Per available details, the carryover in 2019/20 should be 1.033 MMT versus 0.15 MMT in 2018/19. Meanwhile, India’s soymeal demand is estimated at 4.7 MMT for feed, 2 MMT for exports and 0.6 MMT for food consumption. India should carry forward 0.17 MMT in 2019/20, significantly more than the 0.019 MMT in 2018/19. Infrastructure investment due diligence

On behalf of a Canadian oilseed processer WPI's team provided market analysis, econometric modeling and financial due diligence in support of a $24 million-dollar investment in a Ukrainian crush plant. Consistent with WPI's findings, local production to supply the plant and the facility's output have expanded exponentially since the investment. WPI has conducted parallel work on behalf of U.S., South American and European clients, both private and public, in the agri-food space.
