India's Wheat Dilemma The government of India (GOI) is in a bind. While the good monsoon season has boosted wheat production, it also has brought forth a host of other problems, like where to store the wheat and how much should be stored versus how much should be supplied to the public distribution system (PDS) or exported (and to whom).As of 1 June 2012, the estimated food grain stock in India will be 75 MMT.
