India's Corn Price Needs to Correct Indian corn is being offered for export to the Southeast Asia region at $255/MT FOB East Coast. Most of the stocks being offered at this point will be originated from Bihar, an eastern state that has been a good corn producer in the last year. While there are a few who are willing to buy at this price, others are waiting to see what happens. Arrivals have just started -- 300-500 MT have been arriving at the market yard on a daily basis -- and the pace will pick up next week. The current price at the market yard is $250/MT, delivery to the port will be close to $270/MT and the FOB price is at $280/MT.
