Soybean Meal Prices Drop, But Not Enough for Exports Soybean meal prices on the exchange and physical markets have corrected in the last two weeks (since the report dated 12 April), but the correction is small. From 12-18 April, prices were down by a mere 3 percent, according to the Solvent Extractors Association of India. Prices on the exchange were down by 2.27 percent in a week. However, since the prices have started to increase in the last week, the overall correction is only 1.27 percent. The protein complex as a whole remains high, with cottonseed cake and mustard/rapeseed cake prices moving in tandem with those of soybean meal.
