The Food Corporation of India (FCI) will buy 11 MMT in Punjab, 7 MMT in Haryana, 9 MMT in Madhya Pradesh, 3 MMT in Uttar Pradesh and 2.5 MMT in Bihar.On 1 July 2013, the total amount of wheat in FCI warehouses should be 31.9 MMT, with 26.9 MMT as a buffer and 3.0 MMT as strategic reserves.
