The government of India (GOI) has raised the import duty on vegetable oils in order to help domestic farmers obtain a slightly better value for their oilseed crops. Vegetable Oil Import Duty Increased The government of India (GOI) last week raised the import duty on vegetable oils by 5 percent, based on a demand from the Solvent Extractors Association (SEA of India).
